The temple is constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture. The temple is about 150 year old. Especially on weekends several devotees gather here in the temple. Within the compound of the temple there are smaller temples dedicated to Lord Rama, Shiva and Ganapathi. During the grand Navaratri celebrations it attracts hundreds of devotees. For Navaratri festival all the deities are decked up with flowers and carry a festive look. All the nine days of the Navaratri festival sees the flower decoration of the deities and panchamruta abhishekam done to the gods.
The statue of Anjaneya in the temple was sculptured in a town located between Kundapura and Udupi named Saligrama. Many devotees believe that the god of the temple is very powerful and the wishes get fulfilled. The whole year the temple is conducting special poojas and celebating religious festivals. From the month of Ugadi the special programmes such as Annadanam Abhishekam, Alankaram are done in the temple. .During the ‘Hanuman Jayanthi’ festival, people gather here and celebrate with pomp and gaiety. The ambience of the temple is very peaceful and quite. Annadanam is served on Saturdays and Sundays where nearly 2000 people take part in this programme.
